A new phishing scam is targeting people with fake toll violation notices sent via email or text. These messages claim you owe a toll and urge you to click a link to pay immediately. DON’T FALL FOR IT!

How to Protect Yourself:
Never click links or provide personal information from unsolicited messages.
Verify toll charges by visiting the official toll agency website directly.
Look for red flags like urgent language, typos, or suspicious email addresses.

If you receive one of these scam messages, DO NOT ENGAGE. Report it to your toll authority and the Federal Communications Commission and Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.gov, then delete it!
