Digital Banking Upgrade & Third-Party Connections
Do you connect your accounts to Intuit Quicken®, QuikBooks®, or Mint®? Follow the steps below to keep these financial management software platforms connected.
What You Need to Know
Once the Digital Banking upgrade is live on August 25, 2026, members will reconnect. To avoid duplicate accounts or missing transactions, members will need to disconnect the current connection and reconnect accounts after the upgrade is complete.
What You Need to Do:
- Prior to August 24, 2026: Back up your Quicken or QuickBooks data file and complete a final transaction download. Make note of which accounts are currently connected so you can link them correctly after the upgrade.
- Following the upgrade on August 25, 2026: Deactivate or disconnect existing connection, then reconnect accounts to the new digital banking experience. When reconnecting, do not create a new account unless you intentionally want to add a separate account register. Creating a new account may cause duplicate accounts or duplicate transactions.
- Note: Connectivity may experience up to five business days of downtime. If you need transaction updates during this period, use Web Connect if available to download a .QBO(QuickBooks) or .QFX(Quicken) file, and then import that file into QuickBooks or Quicken.
| Connection Type | How it Works |
|---|---|
| Web Connect | With Web Connect, members can download a .QBO(QuickBooks) or .QFX(Quicken) file and import into QuickBooks or Quicken. This process does not require Digital Banking credentials to be entered in Quicken or QuickBooks. |
| Aggregation Services | Retrieves transactions automatically from GSCU Digital Banking through aggregation. Intuit creates and manages this connectivity type. Aggregation experiences a 5 business day downtime beginning on the conversion go-live date. During this time, members can use Web Connect to manually download and import transactions. |
| Direct Connect | Updates occur automatically when the user initiates a new download request from within the product. |
